We are pleased to inform you that our Texas 3 facility partner has informed us of a target online date of Friday, December 2.
The site has been approved for energization by the Energy Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) as of last week, with onboarding of the energy provider, site owner and site operator currently ongoing.
The current expectation provided by the new site operator is for units to begin hashing by the end of next week. The new site owner and site operator are now in place and are in the process of learning the intricacies of the site and substation, including its alert system and other processes. If there are any changes to this timeline, Compass Mining will update as quickly as possible via email.
Georgia 2 & 3: 98% of units are now back online. We are working with the on-site operator to get the remaining percentage of units back online.
New Mexico: Units are now back online at Texas 4.
A minority of units were identified for repairs and have been sent to an authorized service provider for consultation. Miners were contacted by email if one or more of their units are needing repairs and will be updated by our technicians if required.
Missouri 1: A minority of units are now back online at Texas 4. Deployment is proceeding as scheduled.
Nebraska 1: One of the site’s transformers failed in early October. The on-site team continues to work on repairs. We have no time estimate for the site to be back online at this time but continue to work with the team for an expedited fix.
Compass Mining held a Client Q&A Wednesday, November 23. You can view the summary and video here:
