Compass Mining is pleased to provide the following facility updates for May 30, 2023.

Summer mining is now here! Please note that all North America-based facilities are likely to experience heat-related issues over the next few months as ambient temperatures surpass 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Follow the Compass Mining status page for site-wide updates.

Please note the structure used below for all Compass products:

  • Facility updates: updates on any facility changes, including moving miners between locations, downtime or general information about one of Compass’s partner facilities
  • Deployment updates: updates on current deployments from manufacturers to Compass hosting locations

Facility Updates

Ohio 2: Energization was successful on Friday, with about 275 units now online. Compass Mining staff are on-site racking deployments planned for late May/early June.

Deployment Updates

Bundles:

Mini Bundle 1: Unit 6 is 99% deployed! There are 5 machines remaining to deploy.

LoneStar 2: Unit 6 is 70% deployed. Deployments will continue as units are energized in Texas 3 or Texas 5.

US-VIP: Bundle is fully deployed!

RU-VIP: Bundle is fully deployed!

Next Generation Bundle and/or S19 XP Single Orders: Over 350 deployed last week in Texas 3. Remaining orders remain on standby. Unit allocations may go to alternative sites, depending on the best timeline for units to be energized.

Singles:

Antminer S19j Pro 100TH, September batch: Batch is 83% Deployed. Further deployments will continue as units are energized in Texas 3, with 145 left to deploy.

Relocation Updates

South Carolina 2 Relocation: 1,200 units are now energized. We expect the final batch of South Carolina 2 redeployments to go online this week, minus a small cohort in repairs.

Please check your email for communications on redeployments. If you have not been contacted or redeployed, please file a support ticket.

Redeployed S19 XP (Former Texas 4 units): 140 units have arrived at Ohio 2 for energization.

Remaining units remain in shipment or in service queue with our partner. Please expect an email communicating the status of your unit shortly.
