Compass Mining is pleased to provide the following facility updates for May 8, 2023.

Please note the structure used below for all Compass products:

Facility Updates

South Carolina 2: About 250 units are now at our newest facility partner, Texas 5, with an estimated online date of Friday, May 12, for the first batch of units. The remaining 750 units are preparing for shipment down to Texas 5 for racking with an estimated online date of the end of this month.

A subset of units is still being cleaned and serviced by our repair partner in Colorado. Please expect an email communication if you are in this batch of units.

Minnesota 1: One container remains offline due to an electrical failure. The container manufacturer will be on-site tomorrow for the next two days to repair the broken parts in the container.

Texas 3: S19 XP redeployments from Texas 4 and VIP Bundle units have arrived at Texas 3 for deployment. Please see below for more information by product.

Texas 4: We have completed the move of all Antminer S19 XP and started moving the S19a units from the site for redeployment to other facilities. Please refer to the email communication from our Chief Mining Officer for further information on these redeployments.

All other unit types will remain at Texas 4. A Bitmain certified repair team is now on location at Texas 4 for expedited fixes on other offline units.

Texas 5: The first shipment of units–South Carolina 2 redeployments–have been received and are being racked. S19j Pro and VIP Bundle units are also slated for deployment at Texas 5.

Ohio 2: Work on Ohio 2 continues, within an expected online timeline of May 15. All S19 XP redeployments from Texas 4 are now slated for redeployment to Ohio 2.

Deployment Updates

Mini Bundle 1: Unit 6 deployment is now 88% complete and will continue as containers are energized in Texas 3.

Mini Bundle 2: Bundle is fully deployed. Please file a support ticket if your unit(s) is not online.

LoneStar 1: Bundle is fully deployed. Please file a support ticket if your unit(s) is not online.

LoneStar 2: Unit 6 is 35% deployed, awaiting final energization.

US-VIP: Bundle is fully deployed. Please file a support ticket if your unit(s) is not online.

RU-VIP: Bundle is 75% deployed, awaiting energization of units 10-12.

Next Generation Bundle and/or S19 XP Single Orders: Remaining deployment units will be shipped to Texas 3, Texas 5 or Ohio 2 for energization. Units are readying for shipment to each site.

S19 XP redeployment: Units are now at our Denver Service Center for repair and servicing. Units available to go online will be shipped to Ohio 2 for redeployment with an estimated online date of late May.

Texas 4 S19j Pro 100: September batch is 75% deployed, with remaining units awaiting further energization.

Ontario S19j Pro 100: Customers were assigned temps, worker names starting with “ttx.” These units will hash to customers until their permanent unit is available. Email communications will be received for both the temp assignment and the permanent unit assignment.
